The Clean Energy Improvement Program is a new way to finance energy efficiency and renewable energy upgrades. Repayment is made conveniently through your regular property tax bill and interest rates are competitive. What’s more, repayment is tied to the property, not the owner—so you can invest in money saving upgrades now, without worrying about what happens when the property sells.
The program launched for Town of Athabasca residents on October 19, 2022.
